The club has been involved from the outset in cooperation with professionals in the NHS both locally and nationally.
Committee members were involved in the discussions leading to the publication of
S.I.G.N. guidelines on cardiac rehabilitation, the Right for Fife campaign and most recently in the production of the Coronary Heart Disease Patient Involvement Report by Glenrothes Area Local Health Care Cooperative. We are in touch with most other Heart Groups in the country and affiliated to Chest, Heart & Stroke the medical charity. Our patron is Dr. M. Francis, leading cardiologist at Victoria Hospital, Kircaldy.
